About
Designed and printed in Washington.
I'm Joseph — designer, operator, and packer of every WarpedBed order. Everything ships from a small home studio in Washington, where a Qidi Q2, a Bambu Lab P2S, and a Bambu Lab X2D run in parallel to keep the queue moving.
▌ What I make
Multi-color articulated designs, desk fidgets, custom phrase prints, and one-off commissions. Every order is made-to-order — multi-color jobs are handled in-machine, so there's no inventory on a shelf and small color variations can be specified without a setup fee.
▌ The shop
Three printers run in parallel out of a dedicated home studio: a Qidi Q2, a Bambu Lab P2S, and a Bambu Lab X2D. All three handle multi-color jobs natively, which keeps lead times tight across a varied queue — single-color desk pieces, articulated builds, and one-off commissions all move through without queue-jamming on the color step. When something interesting comes off the build plate it usually ends up on the stream first.
▌ Why "WarpedBed"
Anyone who has ever leveled a print bed at 1am gets it — the name is a maker's inside joke. For the record, every printer in the shop auto-levels now, so that particular ritual has been officially retired.
▌ How it ships
Lead times are listed on each product. Smaller pieces ship USPS First Class; larger work goes USPS Priority Mail. Tracking on every shipment. Everything is hand-packed in the studio, and most orders leave with a sticker or two tucked in.
▌ Why prices here are lower than Etsy
Same maker, same item — no markup on Etsy. Etsy charges sellers a transaction fee on every order plus a payment processing cut, and that comes out of the seller's pocket. When you buy here, those fees aren't part of the price, so I can pass the savings back to you instead of handing them to Etsy. The Etsy listing exists for shoppers who already trust the Etsy checkout and reviews; this site is the same shop with the fees removed.
▌ If something breaks
Articulated pieces have small joints — they're tougher than they look, but not invincible. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, reach out and I'll make it right. For wear or accidental breaks down the road, individual replacement parts can usually be reprinted for a fraction of the price of the whole figure — message me with the model and what broke and we'll sort it out.
